It would be really helpful for artists and art students if all of the works were dated so that the work could be better understood in terms of its organic development. From what I can see here -- unless I am missing something -- only occasionally are dates applied to the paintings, for example, the famous portrait of Picasso in 1912.
I think that an understanding of Juan Gris is so important for the intellectual genesis of modern art, that it is especially important in the case of his work to give dates wherever possible.
